A Table of Correspondence is attached which shows

with particularity the source of each section and sub-

section.

4. This being an Ordinance of an extraordinary nature

and importance whereby the rights of British subjects not

residing in the Colony may be prejudiced, in accordance

with No.XXVI, 8, of the Royal Instructions the coming into

operation of the Ordinance is suspended by section 16

until His Majesty's pleasure not to disallow the same is

known and has been notified by Proclamation.

5. With the inclusion of the said suspending clause,

this is in my opinion an Ordinance to which His Excellency

the Governor may properly assent in the name of His Majesty

and on His behalf.
